Introduction
The National Health Policy is among the most sensitive policies in the United States of
America. As a result, almost all the administrations have engaged in the attempts to improve this
policy. However, the proposed changes met harsh opposition from the groups that did not believe
in the proposed changes. This resistance contributed to the difficulties experienced during the
process of attempting to implement national health reforms. It was not until when the Obama
administration achieved the health reforms and established the Patient Protection and Affordable
Care Act (ACA).
