Sandra Renwood
Sandra Renwood was born in Indiana and studied economics at an East Coast university.
She went into finance after college and spent the first 20 years of her career just outside of
New York City, getting an MBA in the process. Renwood began her career in banking
operations and branch management before transferring into the finance department. She
rose to the position of CFO and was involved in a number of bank mergers. She had no
prior expertise with loans or portfolio management. Renwood rose through the ranks of a
mid-sized publicly traded bank to become a senior executive. She kept her eyes out for
fresh chances as she sought to return to Indiana, and she leapt at the chance to join
Kendallville. Her background, along with a proven track record of accomplishment, made
her an obvious choice to lead Kendallville. Renwood was named chairman of the board of
directors eighteen months after she arrive. Sandra Renwood is a chairman and president.
She became a CEO with extensive expertise but no prior experience as a CEO.
