1. Father Daniel Mary’s vision for the monastery is to create a new Mount Carmel in the
Rocky Mountains. He wants to transform his brotherhood of 15 monks living in a small
makeshift rectory into a 500-acre monastery. The new monastery would include new and
approved accommodations such as a Gothic church, living space for 30 monks, and a
retreat center for lay visitors. To make this happen he hopes to purchase Irma Lake Ranch
with the profits from Mystic Monk Coffee. Father Daniel Mary has also established a
future direction for the Carmelite Monks of Wyoming. He wants to eventually have 30
monks join the brotherhood to live out their lives in the new monastery. Father Daniel
wants the Carmelite Monks to understand how important their vows of obedience,
chastity, and poverty are; he wants them to realize the sacrifices they will have to make
once they join the brotherhood and help him work towards his goal by working for
Mystic Monk Coffee. His vision for Mystic Monk Coffee is to expand the company and
its operations and then use the profits he makes to purchase the Irma Lake Ranch. To do
this he plans on targeting the U.S Catholic population which is made up of over 69
million Americans. To appeal to this community, he posted a statement on the website
saying, “use their Catholic coffee dollar for Christ and his Catholic church” to incentivize
