My Personal Management Philosophy Paper
In applying management concepts to a work situation, it is important to consider one’s
leadership style and personality. You need to determine your leadership style before you can even
consider any management philosophy. My leadership style is democratic or participative (The
Vroom Model of Leadership). This style of leadership is one where leaders accept input from one
or more group members when making decisions and solving problems.
Managers and business owner’s need to consider that along with making a profit, they need to
make employees satisfied with their job. Mangers need to find a perfect blend of different
management styles and find a great group of employees that work well with one another. When
managers achieve this, they will find a more relaxed and a more profitable organization.
