My Interpretation
I feel that Malcolm X was trying to say in his speech was no matter what religion, that
should be your personal business. In the beginning of his speech he said “he ballot or the bullet
explains itself”, and that his religion was Muslim but his political philosophy was Black
Nationalism. He also said most people became famous by being involved in struggles going on
in america at the time like Adam Clayton Powell, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Reverend Clee,
Reverend Galamision, and also himself.
