My German Grandmother (Interview paper)
Eveline Fiorenza, or “Grandma,” as I call her, is a 73-year-old woman (25 if you ask her)
with a life time of stories to tell. Looking at her from a first glance, you see a tiny figure, with a
1970-80’s style curly blonde perm, a tiny cross around her neck, and her wedding band on her
left hand, that she has put on everyday for the last 55 years.
She comes from, what was at the time, a small German town by the name of Munich, of
