The Life of the Apache
The Apache Indians were some of the most unique and interesting of
all the tribes. They
preformed many different rituals, hunting skills and were also called the “the
owners of the buffalo”.
They also used the buffalo for clothing. During colder months women wore
buffalo skin coats and the
men wore jackets with buffalo skin inside. As for their other hunting and farming
rituals, (besides hunting
buffalo) they grew corn, squash, and beans. Hunting weapons included bows,
arrows, rifles, lances, and
clubs. They also had to have very distinctive and detailed markings for their
leaders to know which
