My Entrepreneurial Personality and Operational Competencies
1. Describe your entrepreneurial personality traits based on your results from the
Entrepreneurial Personality Overview Assessment on p. 33 by explaining how you rated
on self efficacy, passion, perseverance, promotion, prevention, your planning style
(comprehensive, critical point, opportunistic, reactive, or habit) and your
professionalization (expert, specialized, or minimalized). Provide an explanation of what
the results helped you discover about your ENTR personality traits. I want to know your
strengths as well as areas where you need some work. IMPORTANT: See pp. 30-32,
“The Five Ps of Entrepreneurial Behavior.” This section points out key behaviors that
have lead to ENTR success!
– I found that the entrepreneurial personality overview to be both exciting and
informative. My highest scoring section was passion. I feel that this high score is accurate
and reflective of my personality, in general. Passion comes from being actively involved
in moving a business forward, with an intense positive feeling toward the business. With
both my future business goals in dentistry, and my current goals, I am try to always keep
a positive outlook and stay actively involved in what I am working towards.
My second highest score was self –efficacy, my belief in myself to achieve my goal. My
high scores in passion and self-efficacy, according to the text, make me more likely to
