My College Experience
Everything started back in 2004 during my senior year when my parents told me we will
be moving to the United States at the end of the year, so me and my brother could pursue a better
education. Right at that moment my head started spinning, and many questions starting to pop
up: How will it be? Not only a new school, but a new home, new friends, new country, a whole
new life. I was feeling overwhelm with all the questions I had and even worst that my parents
had no idea how to answer any of them.
December 2004 came around, it was going to be the last Christmas I was going to spend
with my other family members and everyone I knew growing up; it was also time to say good
bye, hoping to see them sooner than later, but I knew it will be a few years before I was going to
be able to see them again.
