Music Review:
Ben&Ben is a nine act band that plays indie folk pop music. Ben&Ben’s ‘Limasawa Street’ is
their debut album which premiered in May 2019. As their debut album, Limasawa Street,
received both critical and commercial success toped it to be the most streamed album by a
Filipino artist in 2019, and is recently certified platinum holder.
From the 33rd Awit Awards, Limasawa Street won numerous awards. In a span of three years,
Ben&Ben is now one of the top artists in Philippine music industry, in which their music
captivated the majority by using folk and world music that blends seamlessly with intricate pop
sensibilities.
