Last Time at Ocean Avenue
Last Sunday night, October 9th, hundreds of punk rock loving millennials made their way
to the Houston House of Blues. Even hours before the doors opened, the line wrapped around
the 3 story downtown hotspot. As “baby boomer” generation members passed, giving
questionable looks, they were probably thinking “what is happening?” Yellowcard’s final world
tour was happening, that’s what. A band that has been here since 1997 was officially breaking
up, and being a 90’s kid myself, the news was tragic. To attend this concert was a MUST.
