Louis’s Spicy Adventure
Louis was a kid from a small town in North Carolina and grew up in a Mexican/French
household. He was a very outgoing and ambitious child but when it came time to eat, Louis was a very
picky child. He would always judge a meal by its appearance and by the scent given off from it. You
could say Louis was everyone’s worst food critic and super picky on the way he properly wanted his
food. “The pungency of a food is the heat that is incorporated within a dish for a stimulation of spice.”
Growing up he was introduced to a variety of dishes from different cultures with the
benefit of both his parents coming from different backgrounds. Louis’s mother was raised in a
French/Mexican household where she learned to cook a lot of French cuisine and Mexican dishes that
used a lot of hot peppers and spices such as cayenne pepper and paprika. With his father growing up in
the country of Mexico, he grew up eating a lot of spicy foods. Maria his mother always made super spicy
