“Intro” (p.xxx)
1. The author says “the burgeoning presence of multiple musics in familiar
places is a reality of life around the globe in the 21st century”
First: what does the author mean by this sentence?
Th author it trying to say that multiple musics will accompany our direct
environment due to things like social interaction, worship, and personal day-
to-day activities. Through these different activities, we will be interacted with
different kinds of music. So our taste in music will blend with other tastes in
music based off the activities we do.
Second: Share any personal experience/knowledge you have related to this
phenomenon.
A time when I encountered this idea is whenever I go shopping. Each store
