“RAIDERS OF SULU SEA”
A Movie Review
The documentary film entitled “Raiders of Sulu Sea” has affected the economy of
everyone who is living in some parts of Zamboanga. “Raiders of Sulu Sea” is allowing the
viewers to see the battle of the people from Spain who joined the battle in the city of
Zamboanga’s Fort Pilar and to witness what kind of battle occurred in the hands of Spain as
they fought their defense at their very last base.
There were a lot of tribes that have been mentioned for the whole duration of the movie
such as Tausogs which is kind of new to me because I have never been interested into such
documentary films like this. But this documentary film had brought me to the past where pirates,
swordsman and people who sail are battling for an island. It’s a very new phenomena for me
due to the fact that these scenarios are not happening in our current generation.
I have learned that in this video there were a lot of colonizers who tried to colonize us
since the film is all about raiding a city with slavery and trade. I have seen in this documentary
film that they were fighting for their freedom just like our national heroes. The entire clash that
