MOTORS AND MORE, INC. 2
An effective employee training plan is an integral part of a successful business.
Furthermore, by developing a formal training program we will eliminate the issue of
promoting employees solely based on seniority. Whether it is a new employee, current
employees, managers, or supervisors, the training will help employees remain aware of
the business practices and changes that may be coming down the pipeline in the near
future. The development of our formal training program will increase the effectiveness
throughout our business by providing pivotal training resources in all key areas. This is a
benefit to employees that want to work their way up the ladder and having a better
understanding of what needs to be done and how to achieve their goals for the future. We
will discuss the training process of new employees, current employees, and managers and
supervisors working their way of the ladder of success here at Motors and More, Inc.
New-Employee
The new employee process has employees attending orientation, where they will be given
information on important job responsibilities, satisfactory business attire, how to apply
for more rewarding job opportunities and how long employees have to be a part of the
Motors and More family before applying for other jobs. The orientation program, will
inform new employees of “the norms, values, work procedures and patterns of behavior
and dress that are expected in the organization” (Ivancevich and Konopaske, 2013, p.
393). New employees will be given pay information based on their experience and skill
