Extended Definition Essay
For years a monster has been looked at by society as something frightening, and evil.
Although that is true in many cases, for instance, Frankenstein’s monster and Count Dracula are
both monsters that fit the general definition of a monster. But lately, the new age monsters of
society have given monsters a new definition in the eyes of many people. Even though monsters
are generally viewed as bad and harmful, monsters like Sully and Mike Wazowski form the Pixar
movie “Monsters Inc.” shows society that, that’s not the case in all stories, seeing as though both
