Mongolian Cashmere and opportunity
Mongolian economy highly dependent on fluctuations in world market prices for non-
renewable natural resources, which ends up being used in a way that is harmful to the
environment. It is underground mineral resources such as gold, coal and other minerals which
are severely damaging the pristine environment. However, we have an opportunity that
supporting the processing of inexhaustible renewable goat wool and raw cashmere on the
ground will make a significant contribution to the Mongolian economy and can create a sector
that is competitive in the world market. Now, Mongolia is the second biggest supplier of
cashmere raw materials (Naranchuluun, 2019). Among goats, with well quality called winter
goats only found nowhere else in the world except Mongolia and China. Although raw
cashmere also produced in Iran, India, Turkey and Afghanistan, most of the raw cashmere
