1. Illustrate how the type of work that he or she does influence a person’s lifestyle. For example,
contrast a farmer, a factory worker, and a schoolteacher.
Lifestyle is dependent on multiple different aspects, not just the type of work a person
performs. However, it does affect who a person is around daily. For example, a farmer
enjoys simplicity and therefore would be more likely to lead a simple, and quiet lifestyle.
A factory worker would be more likely to be an extremely hard worker and appreciating
the little things in life that they are able to afford after a long day’s work. A school
teacher is focused on children’s learning and teaching them the basics of the things
around them, and therefore leads a lifestyle revolving around learning and knowledge.
2. Is it possible for an economy to be based entirely on services?
An economy should be based on both services and products. Products are vital to how
today’s world operates and therefore are crucial to an economy.
3. What is the value of self-service in an economy?
Self-service adds additional value to the economy because it is entirely based on the user.
Labor is only required while the user needs service, thus eliminating a lot of labor waste.
