A Summary of “Final Essay.”

Final Essay
After reviewing the journals, I had written for the past 8 weeks (and some I forgot to turn
in) I have come to realize that the era that had the most impact on our society at least in my
perspective was probably the Post Modern Era. This is where a lot of the architecture and
paintings we see today are derived from, unless I travel overseas I don’t see the beautiful pieces
of previous era’s being utilized here. I have been to a few museums over here but that paintings
and frescos that we see in previous chapters don’t seem to be used in anything that I’ve seen.
Including churches, mine has stained glass windows but it is nowhere near as elaborate and what
I was seeing in the Basilicas or churches that currently reside over in Europe. However, to our
credit I have been to Fallingwater when I was younger and I did appreciate the detail that went
into such a building, I’m sure to create such a masterpiece was no small task.
