Summary: The film Spiderman, is a classic modern myth that tells the story of a boy named
Peter Parker, who gets bit by a spider while on a school field trip with class. When Peter arrives
home after school, he begins to feel ill, and he falls asleep. The next morning, Peter wakes up
with his physique completely changed from scrawny top strong and muscular, his eyesight now
perfect, and can shoot webs out of his fingers. With his newfound powers, Peter feels more
confident and starts flirting with Mary Jane. After the death of his grandfather, Peter Parker
vows to use his powers for good. Norman, the head of weapons contractor Oscorp, whom
Peter interns for becomes the Green Goblin. The Green Goblin attacks Oscorp, and endangers
Mary Jane when she nearly falls to death, in which Peter saves her. Peter’s heroics saving her
from the fall and later that night rapists. In order to thank Spiderman, she kisses him deeply not
knowing it is really Peter. The Goblin decides that he wants to be partners with Spiderman, and
so he attacks the bulge office hoping to lure Spiderman into a trap using knock-out gas to
subdue him, and he gives Spiderman and ultimatum to join his side. In order to get a rise out of
Spiderman Norma/Green Goblin sets fire to an apartment complex, and when Spiderman
refuses, they fight resulting in Peter getting a cut on his arm. When both rushes back to their
shared Thanksgiving dinner, Norman sees the fresh cut on Peter’s arm and learns that Peter is
Spiderman. Later that night, the Goblin attacks Mary Jane sending her to the hospital. Peter
goes to visit Mary Jane, and she admits to him that she likes Spiderman, but Peter and Mary
