We can all imagine the harm divorce can have on children. The stability, the
disruptions, the confusion…You want to give the information to the child, no matter
their age, without overwhelming them. Children need to be able to talk about this openly
and comfortably and sometimes bringing in a family member the child(ren) trust is
helpful with getting them to open up. Enlisting help from family or friends can ease the
transition and the strain.
Keep Communication Open
