Communication Bravado
Communication Bravado is a self-perception of a person who believes that they are effective
communicators, despite getting contrary feedbacks from the surroundings at the workplace or in
personal life. Basically, they are in their own little world of wrong beliefs where there is no room
for trainers to teach them good effective communication skills. I used to have one colleague in a
6-month duration project. He was suffering through communication bravado, sadly he was a
project manager. As per the client’s requirement project started but with his wrong beliefs, we
always faced delays in completing the weekly stages of the project. The client was concerned about
his requirements, also went through from his communication bravado.
