Modern Disney Films
All of us have grown up with classic fairy tales that we all adore. These fairy tales have
taken us beyond our imagination that we love to dream. This is what Disney wants us to do
which is dream and believe in magic and if we do our dreams will come true. Disney has
accomplished that within us that we have our Disney movies to relive our fantasies from when
we were little. But, Disney has always love change and change has always worked for them. So,
Disney went on to change the way they make movies because times are changing and it's time
they made a change too. Disney has come up with a new strategy to catch the new generations
attention and that is reviving and remaking the classic animated films into live action fantasies.
Remaking the animated classics could be a good thing or bad. But, Disney took the
chance and just went for it and it is the best decision they have made. As much as we love our
classic Disney movies they decided to take a twist on the remakes and introduce to the new
generation audience. When the remakes happened they had decided of making them into live
action films. These type of films are the ones that go from cartoon to real life characters. Gray
Wright opinion, "As 90s/early 2000s kids, we hate to see change. We hate to see our childhood
memories tarnished, especially by revisions, remakes, and even fanfiction (at least I do). Imagine
the plight of Disney fans all across the globe currently learning about the slow of upcoming

Disney live-action remakes of their favorite childhood properties. Needless to say, most of them
are not delighted with news"(Wright,2015). This person is the perfect example of people who do
not like change in Disney films and can obviously understand where he is coming from. Classics
are great to watch and brings back so many memories when growing up and why would anyone
change that for the new generation. But the remakes that have turned into live-action films have
become very popular with the audience because instead of seeing a cartoon character we can put
a face to a character that we love and makes it look so realistic that we don't need to imagine
anymore and it becomes more of a fantasy.
