Final Exam Essay
One of the most compelling reasons Martin Luther King Jr. was against the war in
Vietnam was described when he said, “ taking the black young men sending them eight
thousand miles away to guarantee liberties in Southeast Asia which they had not found in
Southwest Georgia and East Harlem”. The irony of fighting to gain someone’s liberty
