Executive Summary
Emergency evacuation system is recently a heated situation in Vietnam, with the demand of
owning and particularly living in a department is increasing significantly every year. Because of some
reasons such as the amount of available is reduced and the cost of owning a house in big city in
Vietnam is quite high, therefore moving along with that is the increment of skycraper department.
Additionally, there were some unexpected and catastrophic situation had happen with some
department in Vietnam, those things put the Emergency Evacuation system in concern. By those, we
believe that a tool of evacuation would be a potential option in this market.
In this case, we would like to introduce about the Evacuation Chutes of safelinc company, an
organization located in United Kingdom. Evacuation chutes is a specialist evacuation equipment
designed for use on tall building, such as tower , department and office building, where fire escape
ladder would not be suitable option. Each device is designed to provide a safe and descent route from
height.
We believe that this specialist evacuation device would be a prospect product in Vietnam, where
the need for it is on the continuously increasing and particularly impact on safety of life.
I. Competition to be encountered in Vietnam
I.1. The Level of product
I.1.1. The core value of product:
The evacuation chute provide a safety and descent route from high-floor height, on the other
words, Evacuation chute give consumer a safety-ensured method in emergency situation. Once
consumer purchase the Evacuation chute, it would not only be just an evacuation device, but it might
be a life-secured as well. Comparing to other evacuation device and method such as deployable
escape ladder or escape rope which requires a particular technique and self-controlled in situation
which also might be less efficient and secured. The Evacuation chute requires less technique and be
able to reduce the panic in the emergency situation, it also provide a higher evacuation productivity
with 15 person per unit, and with the descent speed-controlled, The chute is more and more secured
in height. Therefore, it could be said that, once the department and office building owner purchase
and apply the Evacuation Chute, this could be a strong point in their reputation and particularly the
individual living or working in the building might aware their safety is more secured in any unexpected
situation.
