reaching a year, it continues to jeopardize the lives of

There is a rapid spreading of
myths and remedies for Covid-
19, and what is deemed as a
natural remedy to help stop
Covid virus is actually deceptive
or unproven. Although natural
remedies can be used to build
up one's immunity and can be
added to the list of preventive
measures against the virus, still
one shouldn't be completely
dependent on them. The use of

symptoms yet that person chose
natural remedies instead of
seeking for professional help, then
it becomes alarming since the
person may not be able to identify
how critical his condition may be.
Inevitably, there are people who
are gullible enough to believe this
misinformation. They are
considered as the vulnerable
netizens in the internet as they
are not capable enough in
WHAT IS DECEPTION?
Deception pertains to the act of deceiving,
misleading or encouraging others to believe in
something that is not entirely true. Some examples
of deception are spreading myths pertaining to
Covid-19.It is rampant nowadays since people
spend more time in the virtual world of media.

Due to Indian government's response to battle the pandemic, they
have begun to recommend traditional remedies which became a
dismay to many doctors and scientist. The recommendation was
specifically given by the health minister, Harsh Vardhan for treating
mild cases using the Ayurvedic treatment which is India's
milleniaold system of herbal medicine.
During a press release, Dr. Pramesh demanded Vardhan to release
the evidence as to the efficacy of his recommended treatment since
recommending a drug for a deadly disease that has killed 100,000
of Indians without ample evidence may resort to more health
complications as it becomes a dangerous trend. Even though they
had conducted multiple tests, other doctors and scientist was able
to conclude that his recommendation was not useful.
