Military Women
Abstract:
Dear Reader,
Women have not always been able to join the military. The military consisted
of only men in the past. Now, it is made easier for women to serve closer to the front lines.
Women have taken roles as soldiers, airmen, marines, and sailors. Women face struggles and
discrimination when joining the military, but they also go through rewarding experiences. The
pros and the cons about women joining the military will also be revealed. This isn’t just an

new view into what it is really like for a woman to be in the military. The research will consist of
the following:
Question 1: What is the history of women in the military?
Question 2: What is it like for women before joining the military (while thinking about
joining), while in the military and once out of the military?
Question 3: What are the pros and cons of joining the military?
