How were the south and northeast colonies affected of the expansion of democracy
and the environment?
When the new settlers from Europe discovered the Native land, there was
both possibilities as it was challanges. Christopher Columbus was the first person
from Europe who arrived to America, in 1492. He saw the posibilities in the new
world. After that, more people started to come over to explore, where they tried to
gain more land and power. Since there was a pressure of the population in Europe
with limited resources, they were looking to gain economy, spread religion, and help
themselves to build a better political system. Both Northeast and South English
colonies made an huge impact on the American nature and the democracy, which
affected the minority groups.
The northeast English colonies had an huge impact on the democracy and
environment on the Native land. The settlers from New England called Pilgrims and
Puritans came to the North America for many reasons. They were looking for
expanding trade, gain wealth and also to seek a new ways of life such as religious
and personal freedom. They thought they were the first people coming over, but the

planted corn, beans, and squash, which had many ecological advantages. Corn and
beans were planted together in the fields, so that beans twinned up the corn stalks.
This was much easier for the whole ecological system to function well such as the
growth of other plants and to keep away the damage of insects. The Natives learned
how important it was to work together with their group members in order to
survive. Knowing their lands, animals, and plants was a second nature to them. The
Natives viewed the natural world as being created by spirits and gods. Therefore,

When the English colonizes first came over in 1585, they were settled on the
