Why did Saddam invade Kuwait in 1990?
Kuwait invasion was a two-day operation carried out by Iraq. In early 1990, Kuwait
was being inculpate by Iraq of stealing their petroleum through slant drilling (Rogers, 179).
Some sources from Iraq indicate the decision of Suddam Hussein to attack Kuwait was made
before the actual invasion. Saddam aimed to acquire the largest oil reserves, cancelling a
