Michelangelo’s Pieta
Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni whose nicknames were “Father and Master
of All of Arts” was an architect, poet, painter, and sculptor during the Renaissance era. He was
born om March 06, 1475 at Caprese, Italy and died at the age of 88 in Rome, Italy on February
18, 1564. Famous for a multitude of artworks, but the statues of David, Pieta, and the fresco
painting in the Sistine Chapel ceiling are most famous. Michelangelo obtained permission from
the Catholic church to study deceased bodies to understand anatomy. It helped with anatomical
correctness and his much muscular precision when sculpting and painting a person in his
artwork, which made them much more realistic than the works of artists who came before him
