MEMORANDUM
TO: SilverLine Financing Administrators
FROM: Corporate Communication and PR Department at SilverLine Financing
DATE: April 23, 2018
SUBJECT: Corporate Philanthropy, Increasing Shareholder Equity, and Fostering a Positive Public
Opinion
Philanthropy programs have been proven to improve a company’s image, and they can increase
investments in the corporation. They are an excellent way to give back to our community and increase
employee commitment to the company. Other corporations’ successes from partnerships with
Goodwill, along with Goodwill’s track record for helping those in need, lead us to believe that it is the
best choice of a philanthropic program with which to partner.
Benefits of a Philanthropic Program
Shareholder equity has always been the foundation of this company’s growth, and we have seen a major
decline in this since 2012. The increasing market for online investing firms such as “Acorns”, “Robin
hood”, and “Stash” have been playing a toll on our key stakeholders accounts, including current and
prospecting employees, customers, and suppliers. This section will underline why adopting a
philanthropic program would benefit Silverline Financing.
