Media and Violence Essay
Several studies attribute a spike in violence to the heavier production of violence in media,
whether it be through movies, video games, television shows, or even printed material – such as books.
I’d like to start this paper with relating one thing, it is tough for me to pour through the studies and find
them to be fact. The main reason, I enjoyed video games that these studies would consider to be
violent in my younger years. I also watched movies that these studies would also have found violent. I
turned out, at least I think, fine.
