Executive Summary
This plan to increase communication focus within our workplace would be largely
beneficial to the employees and employer alike. A companywide communication improvement
would not only expand relations between Bridgeline employees but would also lead to more
effective and efficient use of time and resources. The internal benefits of the Communication
Initiative would in turn create benefits for communication with outside vendors and customers
as well, leading to increased productivity and positivity both internally and externally.
This plan, when put into motion will not only help individuals to better understand one
another and thus work better together, but it will also drastically lower internal and external
frustration levels and misunderstandings amongst employees, employer, vendors, and
customers alike. The culture of the workplace will be much improved by this initiative for all of
these reasons.

Background
Our companies corporate structure has long been something that we did not have a firm
hand on. From year to year it has largely been shaped by the individuals that we have brought
into the team and their personal business traits. Although we have never encountered any large
issues with regards to our culture, I believe that you will agree in the importance of bringing
structure to the backbone of who we are and how we choose to represent ourselves.
