Marwencol a film/documentary/fantasy, about a man who was viciously attack and
nearly left him to death but luckily, he survived. His life was a complete new, reset of who he
was and change that he had to discover for the good of him and his life was better after what
took place because of what became him as a person and his stories which he couldn’t just share
out of thin air but through action figures/doll which he uses to tell his story.
His story doesn’t just end their when what had happened to him, as he was badly beaten to
death as he said he would cross-dress in a bar but in a way, it just began for him. It wasn’t easy
for him to start all over again to learn the basic and to be different from other, like to know
what walk is or eat is or to talk as an infant learning as they grow and eventually their capable
of doing all that, he was a grown man doing all this over again. Mark life was a complete reset
for him, and the good of him as time passes, he began to ask question and was curious in the
type of person he was as he saw pictures of himself. He began to interact with the people who
were close to him, an asking question like was I a bad guy? Or a good guy? but they just told
him he was drunker. Mark was an alcoholic, he would drink daily at the bar which he would
work at. Going through his notebook there were some pretty hardcore dark stuff in it as he
wrote them when he was drunk. Not to long after the recovery of him, there was just some sort
of switch that flip on which he wasn’t interest in any type of alcohol like a miracle just happen
which he stops drinking. He needed a way for himself to focus like a distraction in sense, since
he couldn’t afford therapy anymore as he ran out of money. Little did he know what
recognitions he was going to get after what seem like a fantasy world created by mark, of him
life and what took place, Mark started Marweconl which was the fantasy world he created and
named, which was set in a time in world war 2 as his own therapy for himself. Every doll that
was in it was a representation his friends, himself and the tragedy that took place of him. The
then ever before as he didn’t just impacting himself but the world around him, through his
story which he created as his own way as a therapy.
