A few weeks ago we worked with Six Flags to help them identify the external marketing factors that are impacting
their business. Six Flags currently has a multi-segment market strategy. This week we are going to help them
identify their target market (s) so that they can implement effective strategies for reaching these markets.
1. Using the common segmentation variables, create profiles for 3 distinct target markets for Six Flags.
2. Then identify a television network that you believe would be effective in reaching each of the target markets you
have identified.
1. If the child is viewing: Disney Kids, Animal Planet Parents: CMT/MTV/VH1
2. If the child is viewing: PBS Parents: ABC,FOX
3. If the child is viewing: Nickelodeon, Discovery Kids Parents: Tvland, DIY, HGTV
