Product Review
Our product is called “Rec Flash” and will be under the brand name of “Logic”. The
product that we are creating will make recording television simpler and convenient for
consumers. It will come in the form of a usb drive and will give the customer the option to
choose the device in whichever storage capacity they desire. The device will be available
in sizes ranging from 16 GB to 120 GB. The design of this device will be simple yet
effective. The usb will feature an LCD screen in the center of the device that will notify
users of the recording time. The screen will light up when the usb slides open which will
also activate the device. The device will be available in both black and white colors. The
product will be available to consumers in retail stores as well as online. Since the product
just began its development phase, the estimated launch date is set for May 11, 2015.
Since the device will operate in a simple manner, it will be very user friendly. Along with
the device, the user will be required to download the “Rec Flash” application through their
smartphone which will be available on Apple, Android, and Windows software. Once the
app is downloaded, a four digit verification/activation code will appear on the television
which the user will be prompted to enter into their mobile device. Once this is complete,
the activation on the device will be finalized. In addition, the app will give the user a
search option where they can browse television shows or movies either by title or TV
channel. Once the show or movie is selected, the application will give the user the option
to record one or multiple episodes or movies. As soon as the recording is selected, the user
will have the option to cancel as they desire. In terms of the actual device, the usb will
plug directly into the HDMI port on the user’s television.
Competitor review
As more and more people are tied down with work, there is less time to stay at home and
catch your favorite movie or TV show. With our device, this will provide a solution to
those people who just do not have the time to watch live television. Even though we are
