According to The Economic Time, “The marketing mix refers to the set of actions, or
tactics, that a company uses to promote its brand or product in the market. The 4Ps make up a
typical marketing mix.” (Bennet, Coleman, 2016) In the recent year 2015, Fords 2015’s model of
Ford Mustang is an American standout that has been revered and raved about by anyone who
enjoys cars because of the great quality that they came out with. Ford Motor Company has
introduced eight different models for the Mustang fans for the 2015 model year which are all
very highly touted. All 2015 models come standard with a six speed transmission with an option
to get the six speed automatic transmissions.
A company like Ford has a world renowned name. With this recognizable name Ford has
to be sure that its messages that it promotes to the consumers is correct and sinks in to what the
consumers already think of Ford. The message that is put out there cannot be misleading in
anyway and has to be straightforward. This leads to the company and its employees being on the
same page when communicating to the potential consumers. One of the things that Ford is
known for is having great fuel economy and with a short “Go further” by Ford is a perfect
example of how they get their message out there and is concise and to the point. They have
plenty of message that they through out there to the public. All of these messages enhance the
name of Ford.

The prices of Ford lineups are cost friendly and affordable to most customers. Even
customers that are on a budget. The V6 Fastback is priced at $24,425. It comes with options that
include color, interior, and luxury upgrades and with a 3.7L Ti-VCT V6 engine. They have an
EcoBoost Fastback which cost around $26,000. It is turbocharged 2.3L four cylinder that cranks
out an estimated 310 horsepower, 320 lb-ft. of torque, and gets 21 city/32 highway miles per
gallon. The next in a great lineup is V6 Convertible which is priced at $36,925. The EcoBoost
Premium Fastback cost $34,800. The GT Fastback is priced at $32,925. It features 5.0L V8
engine. The EcoBoost Premium Convertible is priced at 35,145. The GT Premium Fastback is
priced at $37,295. The last is the GT Premium Convertible which is priced at $42,995. (Ford,
2016) Ford 2015 model year has a great lineup with so many different options that they have
created a product for anyone and everyone and all the different styles that are out there. They
even focus on fuel economy knowing the political environment that our country is in right now.
They have high end performance cars that even they come up with the marketing term
“premium” which is great because it puts this into the minds of the potential customer that when
they buy this brand that is will show a certain class and prestige as they ride down the street. This
