Consumer Behavior
Analyzing the way, one buys things is really interesting. Comparing the way, you buy a
house versus a pair of shoes is significantly different and requires different amount of
involvement of the consumer and those around the consumer. Although purchasing both items
require the same five steps, in purchasing a house you will spend more time on certain steps
critically considering all options available.
Personally, I have only a few pairs of shoes: sandals, boots, tennis shoes, and workout
shoes. As a typical creature of habit, I don’t put much thought into what shoe I want when one of
