“Skin first, makeup second. Smile always.” Glossier was founded in 2010, and it
now joins a small group of female-founded billion dollar companies last week, March 27
2019. What a started a a single women is now a company which has a $1.2 billion
valuation. The founder, Emily Weiss, wanted by the people for the people. So instead of
reaching out to a big named beauty company, she reached out to Instagram to launch
her new beauty line. A product that was once only available online now has two
permanent location in New York and Los Angeles, with mini pop up locations throughout
the US. There first one in San Francisco, currently one in Miami, and a location to pop
up in Seattle this spring. This limited time experience that Glossier does is something to
be coveted. To follow is another campaign idea for Glossier.
Event details
The company Glossier is opening up a new limited time site in Seattle,
Washington. For their opening week they are having a bunny adoption week. For the
whole week they will have rabbit’s hanging out in the back, ready for photo opt and
adoption. This event is to shine light on this vegan/cruelty free brand. All of the rabbits
are ones personally saved from animal testing. Glossier’s promotion will also be in the
springtime, right around the Earth day and Easter festivities. The budget will just have to
cover the cost of taking care of the Rabbit’s for the week. Rabbit food is $15.99 and Hay
