1. The difference between needs and want is, needs is when someone determines that
something is a requirement, necessary and essential to them. Want is when someone likes
something, wishes or desires something but is not essential. I believe when companies
that sell coffee develop their marketing strategy, they concentrate on satisfying their
customers wants. For example, when Starbucks sell coffees there are marketing to
customer who desires and likes coffee and caffeine. Drinking coffee isn’t essential to
people lives. When I think about utility company or humanitarian agencies, their
marketing strategy is targeting the essential needs of their customers. People can’t live
without light, electricity, or water. Humanitarian agencies such as Doctors without
Borders are providing services to people that will saves lives. They are providing life-
