Marketing
Training for Marketing should start on the first day of employment and continue throughout the
course of employment. I had the opportunity to work for a company that provided training on demand. I
was required to take training once every 30 days due to the changing of products being sold, and
developed for the market that we were in. In the first week of employment it is necessary to give that
employee the required on the job training needed for the position he/she is going to fill.
Once the initial onboarding training is complete it should be a requirement of the employee to take
training as new products are being developed and rolled out, as well as weekly training until the
employee is on the job for a minimum of six months. This will allow the employee to adapt to the
surroundings and workings of the company and get into a habit of wanting to learn about the products
coming out and being developed, so he/she can be an important part of the sales team, or roll out team.
