A) Introduction
I found the content of this class very inspiring and informative. I personally think that I have
a broad understanding of the concept of the global business environment and the impact of
globalization on the business environment. I find that the impact of globalization makes the
company’s global operations very complicated. In this reflective report, I would reflect on
what happened throughout my learning journey, personal cultural identity which includes
ethnic/race, language, religions, attitudes and norms. Besides, I will compare two similarities
in culture and two cultural difference between me and my teammates.
B) Cultural Identity
As a Malaysian Chinese, I’m very proud that my personal cultural experience helps me
develop relationships with team members. Communication is the most important thing in
class during a group discussion or lecturer. As I was born in Penang, I feel relaxed speaking
Mandarin and English with my family and friends. Though English is not my mother tongue,
the way I develop is practise during class presentation or discussion. I feel very challenging
