Mark Zuckerberg’s Harvard Commencement Speech: Reaction Paper
Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Facebook was the featured speaker on
Harvard’s 366th commencement day. He’s speech was all about purpose. To create a world that
everyone has a sense of purpose. That we are not just working in vain but we are working for a
purpose. A line of Mark from his speech states that, “You don’t just create a sense of purpose for
yourself but you also have to create a sense of purpose for others”. A purpose that could benefit
the people around us. Also Mark stated in his speech that, “Purpose is that sense that we are
part of something bigger than ourselves, that we are needed, that we have something better
ahead to work for. Purpose is what creates true happiness.” As an entrepreneur, we have to look
beyond what is seen, being in this industry is not just all about creating something for oneself,
but to search for that purpose that many could benefit for it Having a sense of purpose is also
saying that you are blessed with something and that something in us has to be shared because
