Activity A: Brainstorming
Have you ever participated in some sort of training program at work? If yes, answer Q1. If not,

1. What type of training was it? Was it effective or not? Why effective (or ineffective?)
Yes I have and it was on the job training and behavior modeling. I was sat with another
employee who had been working there for a while and was experienced and a couple of
days I would just watch her do her job and she would teach me how to open and perform
certain tasks. Then I would do it on my own with her supervision and that is how I was
trained and yes it was effective sine I like learning In the actual environment and learned
from what I see her doing.
2. What training program do you think is necessary for employees to take these days? Why?
I think the training methods and other training are specific to certain job types and styles but diversity
training and sexual harassment training are important for all fields and job types so they should be
implemented in all jobs. These two are very important because we live in a world that has many
different people and have to be respectful of their race and ethnicity and also a lot of sexual harassment
