while everyone else was doing the Gandhi thing
2. The apartheid government had the strongest army in Africa spending 4% of GDP(That’s
a lot of fire power), Also they had the support of America(they needed minerals) so u can
imagine what a uphill battle war would of been
3. The apartheid government had already developed nuclear weapons, not a lot but 3 or 4
bombs… Hence S.A is the only nuclear power producing country in Africa. So imagine if
civil war broke out and a that thing was dropped in Soweto?? Or Mamelodi?? How many
dead??
4. The Government has mineral rights in the country and legislative control over the
everything in the country, which means that we control taxes, import duties etc…which
means we can expropriate the land and mines if we so wished.. Without bloodshed and the
risk of loosing a war and living like Palestine
5. There’s land minerals all over Africa, even with the latest strong economic growth
coming out of African countries.. South Africa is still ahead in terms of the size of its black
middle class and people who have 1million dollars or more in the country 50% of them are
now classified as black.. So there has been tremendous progress.. But the black population
