My Managerial Skills
As an incoming freshman I had no idea what I wanted to do aer college, so I decided to
major in sport management because I knew that if my future career involved a pro sports team
or supplier I would be happy. However the more I looked into my major and its job prospects
aer college the more I realised my future wasn’t looking as bright as I had once thought. My
solu”on to the problem was to add two more majors (business management and business
marke”ng). Now when I think about my future career I imagine myself in either marke”ng or
sales and with my management degree hopefully I will be at the managerial level in whatever I
end up doing. As a manager I will need to have the three managerial skills developed before I
obtain a managerial posi”on. This summer I plan on gaining an internship in order to develop
my conceptual, human, and technical skills all three of which are essen“al for being a great
