Going for WOW at Nottingham-Spirk 1. Some organizational conditions that appear to support creative
thinking are; the company has a non-traditional work space (old church), NottinghamSpirk has a risk
tolerant learning orientation culture, and the employees are engaged in work that benefits the company
(task significance). The case study does not say how the actual process flows but it does not appear to
be inundated with bureaucratic delays. The case also suggest that the employees have open
communications and the necessary resources to do their job. 2. In my opinion the above items support
creativity because they generate a relaxed an open work environment. The employees work in a
rotunda surrounded by twenty columnshow cool is that? What a great and relaxing place to get the
creative juices flowing. Nottingham-Spirk’s also have a great learning orientation where they know
mistakes will be made and that the mistakes are part of innovation. There are no repercussions for the
