The Topic I felt was really interesting to learn about was the Male-Female diferences in
leadership style. Males and females favor two different types of leading , men leaders choose
the old school leadership style “Command-and-control” where leaders are dominant figures
with strict commands and high expectations. while women leaders choose the “transfomational
leadership style” where leaders and their followers raise one another to higher levels of
morality and motivation. A Female leader will frequently visit her team member offering
encouragement and advices, a Women leader always try to invest a lot of time in coaching just
like you MS. Susan :), emphasize teamwork and look for ways to inspire her team members.
while A male leader will sit in his office giving orders and expecting Sufficiant progress, try to
stay uninvolved until a problem becomes severe and the only time they engage with team
members is to give them orders and hold them accountable for making mistakes.
