Abstract:
Malaysia is an Asian country, it’s located in Southeast Asia, the economy in Malaysia
suffered for many years until the Malaysian prime minister Mahathir bin Mohamad
became, it’s not difficult to make your country successful, by a good education and cutting
corruption , you will create people have loyalty, those people will be your weapon. This
what happened with the savior of Malaysia, Mahathir bin Mohamad. But here you can
know how the students become the manpower for developing the country’s economy.
Malaysia 1990s
In this year everything change when mahathier bin Mohamad went to USA to increase
foreign investment in his country, and bring American business people interested in
investing in Malaysia, change exportation. Malaysia has become the world’s third-largest
producer of semiconductor device in the world, “(Ellet,2007)
Options
The prime minister during his term in office realized that he needs to support the
exportation for his country, and change the main production to reduce deforestation for
saving nature, at the same he tried as he can bring foreign companies by invite them and
remove all restrictions.
Decision criteria
Early during his tenure, for making everything real now, Mahathir bin Mohamad starts
putting his plans, and works on it. By:
1. Short term plan.
Start to promote and improve marketing, change on tax condition and terms for bringing
foreign investors.
2. Long term plan.
