Making a connection
Conventional wisdom allows people to be content with having to shed a part of
themselves because they know that to move on, grow up, and succeed in something they have to
give up part of their heritage. This relates to me personally because I moved to the U.S. in 2012,
due to the fact my dad works for the UN. When I started school I had to forget everything l
learned because I was taught in the British system. The way I was taught English was different
